The 8th edition of the highly sought-after awards ceremony is set to take place today, December 13, at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, Philippines. This marks the inaugural installment of the Asia Artist Awards hosted in the Philippines, following previous editions held in Vietnam and Japan. The annual awards ceremony serves as a platform to honor and acknowledge the outstanding talents of Asian artists in the fields of music, film, and television, featuring memorable performances.
Organized by PULP Live World and Star News Korea, the 2023 Asia Artist Awards boasts a star-studded lineup of K-pop acts, including NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, Stray Kids, &TEAM, ZEROBASEONE, SEVENTEEN‘s BSS, ITZY, and more. The event will also feature prominent Korean actors such as Kim Sejong, Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Seon Ho, Cha Joo Yung, and more. This year’s edition will showcase Filipino talents, including SB19, HORI7ON, and Ben&Ben, as well as notable personalities like Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, and Melai Cantiveros-Francisco.
Hosted by Kang Daniel, IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, and ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Hanbin, the official program, encompassing the awarding ceremony and performances, will commence at 3 p.m. For those who prefer to watch from home, an official live stream of the event will be available via Lazada, Hulu, and Weverse (except in Japan, the Philippines, and Vietnam).
